Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
Second Street Digital ("we," "us") runs Google Ads for local service businesses. This policy explains what we collect on secondstreetdigital.com and tools.secondstreetdigital.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to david@secondstreetdigital.com.
Information we collect
We collect what you type into our forms, plus basic details about your visit.
What you give us
| Form | Where it is | What it asks for |
|---|---|---|
| Free strategy session | secondstreetdigital.com and tools.secondstreetdigital.com/strategy-session | Name, business name, email, phone, website (optional), industry, monthly ad budget, message (optional) |
| Free Google Ads Toolkit | tools.secondstreetdigital.com | First name, email, industry, monthly ad budget |
| Template request | tools.secondstreetdigital.com | The industry you want a template for, your email |
What we collect automatically
- With each form: the page you were on, the site that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link (like utm_source), so we know which post or ad brought you.
- Google Analytics: pages you view, how long you stay, your device and browser type, your approximate location (city level) and how you found us. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
- Hosting logs: our hosts (Webflow and Cloudflare) keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and performance.
How we use it
We use your information to answer you and to run our business, nothing else.
- Reply to your strategy session request and set up a call.
- Give you the toolkit, and build the templates people ask for.
- Follow up by email or phone about our Google Ads services. Ask us to stop anytime and we will.
- See which pages, posts and ads bring visitors, so we can improve the site.
- Block spam and abuse.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. Only the service providers that run our sites and inbox handle it for us:
| Provider | What it does for us |
|---|---|
| Google (Sheets and Apps Script) | Receives form submissions, saves them to a private spreadsheet and emails them to us |
| Google Analytics | Measures site traffic |
| Webflow | Hosts secondstreetdigital.com |
| Cloudflare | Hosts tools.secondstreetdigital.com and helps deliver both sites securely |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of selling or merging the business.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics cookies to count visits; we don't run advertising or retargeting pixels on these sites.
- Google Analytics sets cookies to tell new visits from return visits. Google may collect information about your browsing across different sites over time. See how Google uses this data, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser's cookie settings.
- The toolkit page saves your first name and email in your browser's local storage after you sign up, so you don't have to sign up again. It stays on your device; clearing your browser data removes it.
- Do Not Track: our sites don't change how they work when a browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
How long we keep it, and how we protect it
We keep form submissions while they're useful for working with you, and delete them sooner if you ask.
- Retention: form submissions stay in our private spreadsheet until we no longer need them or you ask us to delete them. Google Analytics keeps visit data for no more than 14 months.
- Security: forms send your information over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only we can open the spreadsheet. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see your information.
- Children: our sites are for business owners. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
Email david@secondstreetdigital.com for any of these, and we'll respond within 30 days.
- See, correct or delete the information we have about you.
- Stop hearing from us: reply "stop" to any email from us, or tell us by email.
- California residents: you can ask to review and correct your information the same way. We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't give it to other companies for their own marketing.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date at the top.
